迟到的反思英语日记带翻译

　　今天，是我做值日，但是我却迟到了。我没能在老师规定的"时间里到达。

　　Today, I was on duty, but I was late. I didn"t arrive at the time set by the teacher.

　　回家后，我对妈妈说：“妈妈，今天，我做值日，迟到了。”妈妈对我说：“那下次就得早一点到。”我说：“可是，我是倒垃圾的呀，我这么早去，根本就没有垃圾，他们值日都没有做好呢?”可妈妈却说：“不管有没有垃圾，你身为组长，就应该要在规定的时间里到，你除了要做值日以外，你还得督促其他人做值日呀!”

　　When I got home, I said to my mother, "Mom, today, I"m on duty. I"m late." My mother said to me, "I"ll arrive earlier next time." I said, "but I take out the garbage. When I go so early, there is no garbage at all. They don"t do well on duty." but my mother said, "no matter whether there is garbage or not, as the team leader, you should arrive at the appointed time. Besides being on duty, you have to urge other people to do it!"

　　我听了妈妈的话，感觉很有道理。我下次一定得要早点到，履行我的职责。

　　I heard my mother"s words, and I feel very reasonable. I must arrive early next time to fulfill my duty.
